But for their prices, Harman/Kardon would be a better choice. There were Sonys that were cheaper, but I don't trust Sony recievers, unless they're ES line. I found the Pioneer VSX-516 to be an able performer at any price point. I've looked everywhere and this seems to be the best reciever for under $xxx.
